Tina Klotz

Administration and Marketing

Tina Klotz has been responsible for administration and marketing at the Europäische FilmPhilharmonie since 2010.

At the age of 13 Tina bought her first soundtrack: BATMAN RETURNS with the operatic, overwhelming and eerily beautiful music of Danny Elfman. That was in 1992, and since then film and music have become an integral part of her life.

This passion led Tina Klotz first of all to Frankfurt am Main for her master’s degree in art history with a focus on film and photography. During this time she gained work experience in the exhibition business, gallery work (KICKEN BERLIN) and at the children’s film festival “LUKAS” in the area of project support and organization.

Tina Klotz started her professional career at the Frankfurt Film Museum, where she worked for almost two years in the picture archive and looked after the museum’s circle of friends, before moving to Berlin in 2010 to join the Europäische FilmPhilharmonie, where she has now been part of the team responsible for administration and marketing for nine years.

In her spare time Tina likes to search for soundtrack treasures and usable vinyl. Especially the Polish film composers have impressed her with much sound mass and emotionally strong melodies. Her favorites are Wojciech Kilar (BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA), Zdeněk Liška (OT: SPALOVČ MRTVOL, DT: DER LEICHENVERBRENNER) and Abel Korzeniowski/Shigeru Umebayashi (A SINGLE MAN).
