This summer’s soundtrack sounds like Charlie Chaplin, Henry Mancini, Ennio Morricone, Danny Elfman, and many other sensational composers.

Adventure and comedy dominate our agenda, which includes events from Copenhagen (Raiders of the Symphony) to Teneriffe (Excelsior: Stan Lee’s Legacy). It is through the power of music that Hollywood travels to Milano, Italy, with A Superhero Night, an evening powered by spectacular scores by John Williams, Hans Zimmer, John Ottman, James Newton-Howard and others; In contrast, Italy travels to Bad Kissingen, Germany, with our program Viaggio in Italia, a journey through well-and-lesser-known works by masters such as Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota and a celebration ofmusical gems by Riz Ortolani, Claudio Gizzi, and Nora Orlandi, Italy’s first female film composer.
